Supervising Judge

JERNEJA TERNOVEC (SI)

has been active in rescue dog sports since 1995. In 2003 she became a trainer for rescue dogs, in 2006 national judge for rescue dogs and in 2008 International IRO Judge. She is an active dog handler and trainer, and currently Spokesperson for Training and Judges of the IRO Executive Board.

detlef kühn (de)

has started in dog sports at the age of 16. After having been a national judge for several years he became Int. IRO Judge in 1993. He belonged to the IRO Executive Board for many years, and is Judge and Classifier at IRO Testing Events, WCHs, and MRTs worldwide.

Pavla Foltynova (CZ)

She started with search and rescue training dogs in 2006. She passed a number of IRO events in area, rubble search and water rescue with her flat-coated retrievers, including WCHs in area and rubble search. She participated in MRT in rubble search and national MRTs in rubble and area search and several real searching in area. Her career as IRO judge started in 2022.

Astrid laner (IT)

Her cynological CV began as a child, as her father was an avid shepherd dog breeder. In 1983 she started with the rescue dog work (area and avalanche search). Since 1985 she has participated in numerous search operations. IRO judge since 2002. Last passed MRT 2017, as well as 3rd rank at the IRO WCH 2017 in rubble search.

alois russegger (AT)

has been working with search and rescue dogs since 1981 and has been a soldier and military dog handler for Schutzhund and SAR dogs until 2017. Among others, he is an active mantrailer and instructor of IMTAK9 (International Mantrailing Academy). He became Int. IRO Judge and Trainer in 2007.

hannes hiltpolt (AT)

is an active rescue dog handler since 1995 and retired shortly ago. Since 2008 he is International Rescue Dog Judge (FCI), and International IRO Judge since 2015. He was active as IRO judge at numerous IRO World Championships.

Charlotte kranz (AT)

has been active in rescue dog training since 1991. Her international judging work has taken her around the world since 2009. Since 2016, she has been a volunteer in the area of finance for the IRO Executive Board as well as an MRT-certified IRO judge and evaluator for AFDRU rescue dogs. She was co- judge in Austria at the IRO World Championship 2017, a judge in the at the IRO World Championship in Italy 2018 as well as at the WCH 2022 in Romania.  
Her NRO RHVÖ was organizer of the IRO WCH 2023 in Austria.

daniel sedlák (cz)

has been active in SAR dog work since 1990 and has gained lots of experience at numerous national and international search operations. In 2000 he was appointed International IRO Judge and is also part of the IRO Classifier team.

Co-Judge Area

kaori oshima (JP)

has been active in rescue dog sports and training since 1994. She has been a member of the „Rescue Dog Trainers`Association“ (RDTA-Japan) since it was founded and mastered numerous missions in area search, after earthquakes or earthslides in her home country but also abroad. She has also worked as a spokesperson for training and judges at RDTA-Japan since 2005 and was a board member of the organisation for 6 years. The seven-time WCH-participant (RH-T) has already trained ten dogs up to level B furthermore she is also an IRO judge since 2009 and even IRO classifier for MRT- Rubble since 2017. In 2023, she successfully passed MRT Rubble test in Austria.
