Q: When does registration start?
A: Registration for the IRO World Championship 2026 starts on 19 July 2026 at 00:00 UTC via the IRO portal.
Q: What is required for registration?
A: First, you need an account on the portal – both for yourself and your dog. Secondly, you must prepare the relevant information about your qualifications. If you did not complete IRO tests in 2026 but other qualification tests instead, please enter them manually in “Tests taken” and upload the corresponding proof – result pages.
Q: When does the qualification period for the 2027 World Championship begin? When will the 2027 World Championship take place?
A: As soon as the IRO Executive Board has decided who will host the World Championship and where it will take place, all resulting dates will be announced, including the relevant qualification periods.
Q: Can NRO already register for the 2027 qualification test?
A: No, registration for Qualitests is currently not yet possible. As soon as a date of WCH is set, the corresponding deadlines and registration periods will be officially announced.
Q: How many competition places are available for the World Championship 2026?
A: The following competition places are available for the World Championship 2026: 53 FL/53 T/18 F/24 W
Q: How is the registration process for WCH participants carried out?
A: All participants and team leaders must be individually registered as users in the IRO portal.
Create a user account in the IRO portal → complete personal data → enter dog details → enter the results and information regarding qualification exams under “Tests taken” → upload Scorebook Cover as well as the first pages containing the dog information and the pages with the corresponding qualification tests → team registration by the team leader through his user account, indicating all team members.
The qualification exams must be entered and uploaded in advance. If they are not IRO exams completed after 25 October 2025, they must be reviewed and confirmed by the IRO office before the start of the registration period. A detailed guide for the registration process will be published at a later date.
